[Personality]
Phil is a man that has seen much of the world and is secure in what he has done and is now doing. He has confidence, without being cocking about his skills. He doesn’t go bragging about what he does, only does what is needed of him when it is needed.
When it comes to dealing with problems, he is able to think quickly on his feet. This is shown in the short “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Thor's Hammer” the most since he only came into the store for a snack and then disarmed and took out the robbers in one swift movement. It is this ability to think on his feet that has allowed Phil to deal with people like Tony stark. He’s able to take the remarks of such difficult people with ease and do what is needed when dealing with them. He’s not very outgoing though, rather enjoying his job as an agent more then the thought of going out to parties. He’s most happy when he’s doing his job.
Phil has a playful side as well, though it doesn’t show that often since he is mostly on the job. When it does show it’s normally in the form and a witting or sarcastic comment of a carefully placed smile. He knows a joke when he hears one, but isn’t always the best at showing if he thinks it’s funny. He’s more of a reserved person.
If something is bothering Phil, he doesn’t show it. He tends to think things through before voicing anything. He would rather work through problems that he has on his own. This can be seen when he doesn’t want to take advice on his love life, or even talk about it. He's not the best with relationships, and he doesn’t want to make it an issue either. Because of that he keeps those feelings to himself.
Phil has an intuitive mind and tries not to cause trouble without reason. He is far more comfortable sticking to what he is best at and directing others to where they can be of best use. In this way he’s able to work within SHIELD as a lead agent. He believes that with his work he can help people find the right path to doing what is best. He believes that others are good and capable of great things, and he wants to make sure they get the chance to do just that. That does not mean that he is unwilling to use force when needed though, because he will when needed. He knows some people just need the right push to be all they can be.
[Abilities]
Agent Coulson is a well-trained agent of SHIELD. He is well versed in self-defense and disarming people. He is fully capable of using guns as is standard for any agent. He is a skilled fighter.
He is also a master hacker, always able to get into a system with ease.

[First Person]
An interview :
- What do you think of your home world?
Earth isn’t a perfect world, but it’s the best place I know of. There are people on earth that are willing to live their lives to help others as well as protect them. That kind of mindset is what makes me proud of humanity.
- If you could go back home, would you? Why or why not?
Yes. If I could, I would. Being dead makes that hard though. If I could go back to being alive I would go back to being an agent for SHIELD. It’s what I do best.
- What were you doing before now?
I was dead. Before that I was working for SHIELD. SHIELD was bringing together a group of exceptional people to fight against a force that humanity couldn’t on it’s own. I beleive that they are the right people for protecting the world, even if they can be a little trying at times.
- If you were to describe yourself in one sentence, what would that be?
I am an agent for SHIELD who does his job very well.
- Would you consider yourself a power hungry individual?
No. I am only interested in the stability of the world. I want to make sure that when a major threat happens it can be fixed, or at lest die trying.
- Someone comes to you to ask for the time. How would you respond?
I would give them the time and tell them to have a nice day.
- Someone is trying to rob you! What do you do?
I would disable and disarm anyone that tried to rob me and then turn then make sure they were left where the local police could easily find them. I will make sure they will believe turning themselves in is the best idea. [smile]
- Would you consider yourself a hero or a villain? Why? Neither is an option as well, but still tell why.
I am the backing that helps the heroes be where they are needed and have what they need to do the good they can do. It’s not always easy since they can be thick headed, but I will always work to make sure they focus on what is important. Even if that requires a little push.
- Your country is in the middle of a war. What do you think of it? Do you support it or try to solve it yourself by going on an epic quest? Explain.
I would do whatever my nation needed of me to the best of my ability.
[Third Person]
Saying that being brought to this city had been a shock to the agent was a large understatement. One moment he was being lanced through the chest with Loki’s staff, and the next he was in this odd dream world. It was lucky the people here had the magic to save him in time. However, what had followed still weighed heavy on Phil’s mind. Even the view off of the Stark Tower wasn’t helping things. ‘Fury told us you were dead.’ Was still ringing in his ears. Dead? But he didn’t feel dead.
Phil sighed and walked along the side of the roof. It was nice to know his death had brought everyone together, but wasn’t death supposed to be the end? It was a little much having so many people from home here. After he had been fixed up again, Captain America offered to sign anything he wanted, Tony Stark called him Phil instead of Agent, and even Barton and Natasha seemed to hold him in higher regard. It was nice, but did it mean this odd world would be his after life?
Shrugging, Phil stared toward the door down off the roof. Well, It wasn’t like this place didn’t need him, so there could be something for him to do. Also, if his death had meant the downfall of Loki, then Phil would have done it all over again, though might have tried avoiding the staff first. That wasn’t the point though. There shouldn’t be reminiscing over something that couldn’t be taken back.
It was then that Phil made a promise to himself. Whatever more time this place gave him, he would do whatever he could to help the people of this odd place. He was an agent first and foremost after all. It was his job to protect and serve, even when people thought his helping was jus being pushy.
Of course that also meant keeping tabs on the Avengers that had ended up here. It was what he had been doing anyway, but now they were just in a new place. Yes, Everything would be fine. Phil started down the stairs of Tony Stark's tower with a small smile. “JARVIS, I need a few files.”
[Why do you want to play this character in Somarium?] because I love the cast!
[Which rule was your favorite and why?] stay in character. because IC and OOC should be like water and oil: never mixing.
[Any questions?] Where are the doughnuts?
